INSTRUCTIONS FOR USAGE

PLAY MUSIC​

You can play music in several ways: via the CD player or via Airplay from your iPhone or via an audio cable connected to your smartphone.
Using the CD player:

Press the CD button on the amplifier

Insert the CD into the CD player and play it

Using the iPhone:
-
Select AUX on the amplifier
-
Connect your iPhone to the Wifi network "myChalet".

Select the Airplay output "Viktor's Airport Express" in iTunes
​

Using the audio cable:
-
There is a cable for connecting to your SmartPhone.
-
In this case, press the AUX button on the amplifier.
NB: Please put CDs back in their box after listening.
Please switch off the unit after use.

WIFI
Select the "myChalet" network
Password "myChalet"

IMAC
​
To log in on the iMac:
-
Please use the guest account on the iMac. All data of your guest account is temporary and will be deleted as soon as you log out.

Select the WiFi network "myChalet" at the top right.

Your guest account (compte invite) is set up in French by default. To change the language of your guest account:
-
Apple â–º System Preferences â–º Language and Text â–º On the Language tab, set your language to the top of the list.

TV
​
Press On/Off on the TV remote control.
Press 0 (zero) for external devices
HDMI 1 = Apple TV
HDMI 2 = PlayStation 3
Go to Apple TV > Zatoo to view the TV channels.
You can use Playstation3 to watch DVDs and BlueRays.
You can watch movies on Netflix.
Please put all remote controls back in their place next to the TV.

THE KITCHEN
Oven:
-
To activate the oven when the display is flashing, press both arrows.
-
Press both arrows and +/- to set the clock.

Oven does not need to be cleaned: We activate the pyrolysis cleaning after your stay.

The gas flame is equipped with a child safety lock: to light the flame, press and turn slightly to the desired position, hold for a few seconds and release.
The fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen storage compartment.
​
Please be careful not to put wood in the dishwasher.
Be careful when closing the dishwasher: do not push the handle down.
Always switch off the cooking zones after use.
Do not put hot dishes on the worktop or wooden table.
Use the wooden board for cutting.

Cost for broken glass: CHF 7
Please report broken kitchenware at checkout.

CHIMNEY
​
The valve that opens the ventilation of the chimney is already set. However, if the smoke has not been evacuated, make sure the extractor bonnet is open. An adjustment knob is located on the cap of the chimney.
Do not operate the ventilation settings on the side of the chimney: ventilation starts automatically when a certain temperature is reached.

Please do not touch the heating control. Please call Mrs Gillabert if you have a problem with the heating.

To lock or unlock a door, lift the handle and turn the key.
